Crocheted Hoooked Shopper Bag

Hi Shoppers!~
Apparently it’s a thing to crochet around hard-plastic shopper bags. I always saw uncrocheted bags around the atelier, but I never actually wondered how it should be done.. Until today. We just randomly came up with the idea to make one, instead of doing the things that should be done haha. My day started good because of this project, since it was so fun to do!

Kwang Soo The Giraffe!

Hello Giraffes!
I crocheted alot since my last post, the first of several posts, Giraffe Kwang-Soo!

The pattern of this cute animal, sadly only was used to fill up my patterns folder. I didn’t have the materials to make him at home, but the atelier did! I brought the pattern with me to a crocheting workshop when I got told to make it as an example for the store. Meanwhile also helping my fellow crocheters with stitches and whatnot. At that time i only got to finish a little part. But since the colors attracted me so much i couldnt finish it faster then what i did, in only a few hours! (Spread over a few days, ofcourse.)

Charlaine the Hippopotamus

Hello Hippopotamusses!

Today I started my second Charley the Hippopotamus! (This time it’s Charlaine)
The featured image is the first one. It was one of my first projects, and made me fall in love with maxigurumi crocheting, haha. This Hippo is from a book also called Maxigurumi. (Max + Amigurumi, which is a Japanese style crocheting.) Actually the only difference between ‘normal’ croccheting and amigurumi, is qontinuing tours without closing them off with a slip stitch. Often you should use a safety pin or little thread to remind you where the tour ends/ begins. Anyway!

Cupcake Family!

Hello Cupcakes!
Another finished project. I got a little package with a book and material from my boyfriend on how to make little cupcakes. Too bad they only had enough material to make one specific cupcake, with specific colors. I didn’t like that, at that time I didn’t like to make anything with a crotchet hook below 7 mm. So I grabbed some nice looking wool that I already had and started to make one big cupcake. After some nice complements on its cuteness soon a father cupcake formed by my wool and hands. Seeing that it looked like a father and a mother, I had to make children. 2 little cupcake children. Not as small as it originally should have been, just crotchet hook 7 with a little adjustments to the pattern and it turned out as I wanted.
